These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the GourmetLens website, app, and related services. By using GourmetLens, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use GourmetLens.

GourmetLens provides AI-powered food photo recognition, personal menu organization, caption generation, social sharing tools, and related features. Features may change, be limited, or be discontinued at any time.

Some features may require internet access, compatible devices, third-party services, or app store accounts. We are not responsible for charges from your carrier, device provider, app store, or other third parties.

You must be able to form a binding contract to use GourmetLens. If you use GourmetLens on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

If account features become available, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

You may submit photos, menu images, dish names, restaurant details, captions, notes, and other content. You retain ownership of your content, subject to the license you grant us below.

You grant GourmetLens a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, display, modify, and create derivative works from your content as needed to operate, improve, and provide the service.

You represent that you have the rights necessary to submit your content and that your content does not violate law, infringe third-party rights, or contain harmful, misleading, or unlawful material.

GourmetLens may use artificial intelligence to identify dishes, generate captions, create descriptions, or suggest related information. AI outputs can be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your intended use.

GourmetLens does not provide medical, allergy, nutrition, dietary, restaurant safety, or professional advice. Always verify ingredients, allergens, dietary suitability, and food safety with reliable sources before making decisions.

You may not misuse GourmetLens, interfere with the service, attempt unauthorized access, scrape or harvest data without permission, reverse engineer protected parts of the service, upload malicious code, infringe intellectual property rights, or use GourmetLens for unlawful or harmful purposes.

You may not use GourmetLens to generate or distribute deceptive, defamatory, infringing, abusive, or illegal content.

GourmetLens, including its software, design, branding, logos, text, graphics, and service features, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

Except for the limited right to use the service under these Terms, we do not grant you any ownership rights in GourmetLens or our intellectual property.

GourmetLens may link to or integrate with third-party services, including analytics providers, forms, social platforms, AI providers, and app stores. Your use of third-party services may be governed by separate terms and policies.

We are not responsible for third-party content, services, policies, outages, or security practices.

Waitlist, beta, preview, or pre-release features may be experimental, unavailable, incomplete, or changed without notice. We do not guarantee that waitlist participation will result in access to any product or feature.

GourmetLens is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that GourmetLens will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, accurate, or free from harmful components.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, GourmetLens and its owners, developers, affiliates, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, or business opportunities.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to GourmetLens will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to us for the service in the three months before the claim arose or US $100.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless GourmetLens and its owners, developers, affiliates, and service providers from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from your use of the service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

We may suspend or terminate your access to GourmetLens at any time if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk for us or others, or used the service in a harmful or unlawful way.

You may stop using GourmetLens at any time. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will continue to apply.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and provide additional notice where required. Continued use of GourmetLens after changes become effective means you accept the updated Terms.
